This is a preserved foetus from the museum of hygiene in Dresden Germany. The jar stands at 20cm high. The specimen itself has been dissected in a way to reveal organs and the internal structure.
We should never forget quite how unfortunate it is that a life didn’t quite make it. Being a father myself I cannot imagine the devastation that this loss caused. However, without specimens like this the medical world would have minimal understanding on how to care for the living and keep numerous generations of life alive and well. This should always be kept in mind when viewing or owning specimens such as this.

All the remains I sell are over 100 years old for the law, ethically sourced and respect of the living friends and relatives, I would never sell any remains with a known name as this may upset the living and that is in my opinion disrespectful. If someone is disrespected with no link to a random skull then that is their opinion and in my mind not disrespectful.
