Paul Binns Petersen X re-enactment sword. Also known as the “T Cosy” pommel, this style of sword was common in the late 10th to mid 11th centuries. It has a straight forward hilt which gives it good balance for re-enactments when combined with the light, wide, fullered and slightly tapered blade. Typical weight for a 28” blade is between 1 - 1.1 kg and the balance point is three fingers from the cross guard. Currently there is a long waiting list for swords made by Paul Binns, so why not treat yourself to that perfect re-enactment sword without the wait.
All the remains I sell are over 100 years old for the law, ethically sourced and respect of the living friends and relatives, I would never sell any remains with a known name as this may upset the living and that is in my opinion disrespectful. If someone is disrespected with no link to a random skull then that is their opinion and in my mind not disrespectful.
